Rochester to Brighton. A great ride.

Scott and I on the summit

Nearly there

I did my last training ride today, leaving home at 6.30am I had a very pleasant ride through Kent and Sussex. I stopped at the Duddleswell Garden Centre Cafe for the most expensive cup of tea I think I have ever had; £2.20. Bizarrely it only cost 70p for a slice of flapjack. I met up with son Scott who had cycled out from Brighton and we then cycled up Ditchling Beacon together. What a beast of a hill! Great fun going down the other side though. Now I have to pack my bike in a box so the courier can take it down to Land's End.
